Battery Recycling

Battery recycling in schools

CCCSWA offers two ways to dispose of common household batteries—you can have them picked up twice a year, or you can drop them off at one of our partner retailers.

For pick up,  put your batteries in a sealable clear plastic bag and set them out during your twice-yearly Reuse Day. The batteries must be kept separate from your reuse items and must be clearly marked with the sticker sent with your Reuse and Cleanup Days brochure.
